Remember smashbooks? They were all the rage last spring and summer? They were the sketchbooks into which you could smash all kinds of ephemera from you daily life and add doodling and journaling to make an inspirational book.
Did you start one? Did you finish it? Is it still in progress? Want to know what I did with mine? Come back tomorrow, and you can read all about it!

A few months ago I had to google them because I had not seen one in the flesh ... I think they are harder to come by over here. So, short answer is no, I did not start one. But, I have enjoyed seeing them used in a variety of ways.
I loved the concept of them but never got one as I couldn't justify yet another sketch/planing/sticking bits in book to add to my already half full pile. I cant wait to see what you have done with yours.
I did start one in the summer....didn't put as much in it as expected....so it's still ongoing.
I started a "Junque Journal" about 2 years ago - before smash books became all the rage. My latest pages are included in a recent blog post: http://cheriandrews.blogspot.com/2012/01/more-from-crop.html
Check it out! You might recognize some things in that post! ;)
I never did jump on the smashbook bandwagon, but I really want to and have a bunch of things handy that I could smash into it when the mood (and the shoulder) allows.
I never got around to starting one, though I love the idea.
I didn't have one - but I have just managed to get my hands on the next generation: an Amy Tan Day book. I'm looking forward to seeing more
I actually learned about smashbooks on your blog. I saw them in one of our craft supplies stores and I didn't get the hang on it. I see that one of your faces made it into the book!!
I made one with a twist, and I still use it. Mine isn't artsy like yours, but serves as an inspiration notebook more than anything else. It's one of the more useful projects I've made.
