Captions in Paintings (+ Paint Party Friday)

When I painted my series of watercolor faces for the "Faces 101" class I'm taking (you can see the other paintings here), I found myself compelled to add captions to them.  The one on the left reads "She always blushed when she drank too much." The one on the right, simply "Pixie Cut."  I found myself doing the same thing when I drew some faces in the next lesson.  Except for this drawing, which I didn't caption:
Nothing came to me. So, now it's your turn. What caption or title would you add to this face? Or would you just let her be?
I'm linking up today to "Paint Party Friday," a blog challenging artists to paint and post at least once a week. You can see the current week's paintings at this link. My blog friend Gloria is a regular participant and planted the seed in my head.  Thanks Gloria!

Rinda, I am SO loving seeing your art! And I LOVE that you are captioning your drawings...my fave is "she always blushed when she drank too much." Very very cool...can't wait to see more of your faces!

You are really doing great stuff in this class. I laughed at the first two titles, my Mom always blushes with just one drink ans she always had me in pixie cuts as a young girl!

Thanks for sending the book my way, my friend will be shocked to finally start this project!

Looks wonderful! I love Carla's style. It's Carla's class, right? :) I always have trouble with names so I'm no help to you. :)

You've got to go with Helena's caption. I think that's perfect!

She just seems contemplative to me. So I guess I'd let her speak for herself and let the viewer interpret what they see.

Great faces, the captions add so much to them. I always caption my sketches, even if it's only in my mind.

I think she looks like a deep thinker or she's trying to decide on something, maybe to keep her curls or go with straight hair, lol. They are lovely and all have personallity!

"she loved her beauty mark"
that's the one I liked the best.

The captions are a splendid addition! What came to me as soon as I saw her was: "I wouldn't, if I were you!".

Hi Rinda. Oh so glad you linked up with PPF. You'll love it! I love your girls. They are popish as Phoenix says. Your style of painting is fun. The third one, well it's like she is thinking, "Something fishy is going on." tee hee. Love your girls Rinda, great work. Keep it up! Happy PPF!

Rinda, please don't kill me or never visit my blog again or... but she reminds me of our former governor, Arnold. So what about "I'll be back"?
