I knew I was going to have a small confession to make because I had never finished my 2009 Journal Your Christmas Album. Imagine my surprise when I pulled out my journal and found that it was basically empty! I had a plan to fill it with my Tim Holtz tags from 2009 and journal about how to find Christmas magic with teenagers. I blogged about it last year.
I had the tags all done and some journaling on my blog from last December. So I pulled out the rest of my supplies and went to work. It didn't take long until I had filled the book:
And to make sure that the same thing does not happen this year, I went ahead and completed a cover and interior pages of my 2010 JYC Album. You can see both of them up top. How about you? Did you finish 2009? Have you started 2010?

You are making a lot more progress than I am :) I have yet to consider one for last year or start one for this year but I admire your efforts, good luck, I'll enjoy watching :) Thanks for the answer to my picture question, what a cool App :) Have a great day!
Yes, I did finish last years - not sure what format this year will be - most likely a month in review style combined with a few regular scrap pages.
Yay, one project completed in plenty of time to do the next - Result!
I have yet to start my JYC album - beyond cutting the pages from Kraft cardstock... So busy here recently!
I may go for a more digi idea - put it on the computer, then print and stick it together!
I like that you made an album of your tags though. A good way to keep them all together - I remember you doing these last year (and you're doing some this year too?) I still have a great tag you sent me, on my studio wall. I see it every day and it's great!
I finished last years but have yet to start on one for this year.
I did finish last year's to my own satisfaction....didn't do every day....and finished xmas day. This year a much simpler one....but the same philosophy....picking and chosing days....and prompts..... I want to journal.
Am loving the vintage feel to your photos.
bravo to you for finishing a project after so long - i have so many that i have started (so much more fun!) but have not completed. i hope (fingers crossed) to keep up on my jyc since i do have the inclination for only moving forward in crafting.
Thanks for making this confession, Rinda, because now I don't feel so bad! I made the shell of a minibook last year but ended up never putting anything in it. For that reason I decided to skip it this year!
I love that you used the book for your tags though! Very resourceful.
I did finish last year's book. But 2008's didn't get finished until October of 2009 ;)
Yes, I finished up last year - and that thought is giving me a bit of impetus this year. I remember your tags from last year - I loved them!
I really surprised myself last year by having mine completed & sent to the printers by Jan 9. Since I only managed about 6 pages of 2008, I was really pleased.
Wow, you got a lot done. Yes, I finished last years, and have all the "day" pages done for 2010. I'll post the first two days tomorrow. I still have to do the cover for this year. I have the chipboard cut, but haven't come up with a good idea yet. I haven't decided how to bind it either, so that's pretty unusual for me. I usually have the album all set up.
Nope.. I didn't quite finish last year's album either! I have started 2010 but making it much simpler in style this time. Just need to do the journaling for each page.. I'm stalling on this for some reason.
I love your album with the glimpses of those tantalising pages ... Lpooking forward to seeing more as it progresses!
