Fun with Tags

I had a long day today and wanted to have a bit of creative fun to take the edge off the day.  So, I pulled out the counterfeit kit I made yesterday and decided to make some tags that I could use on my vacation pages.  I thought it would be a good way to use up some of the decorative brads I had and create some easy embellishments to go with pages about gardens, English countryside, villages, Cambridge and London.  I made five sets of three tags each, and I really like them!
What do you do when you just have a bit of time and want to be creative?

Today  I am grateful for: pretty paper and sparkly embellishments.

Hmmm, usually muck around in photoshop and create some sort of weird looking variation of a photo I have taken!

After reading your comment over at Ginger's I am wondering if I can further tempt you into the world of DD and JYC - your album last year was a fantastic project and I love your ability to capture life in such an artful way!

Hmmm, usually if it's just a wee bit of time it usually isn't scrapbooking related - I usually haul out my knitting and try & get at least one row done. But I like your idea of what to do with just a little bit of time.

Love them. I'm a fan of tags. Last night I did exactly the same thing, made a set of 16 tags for the Christmas gifts I'm leaving in Oregon. They're all the same, though.

Great tags & a perfect idea when you just have a little time.

Sometimes I'll work on tagging & rating my digital photos when I just have a little time, or pull out a few supplies for my next project.

Lovely tags - and bonus points for using up some brads!

Cute tags. Before I could only muster up enough energy to surf the internet. Now, since joining Christy Tomlinson's art journal class I've been spending bits of time there. Fun.

great tags. I bought a tag punch earlier this year so making tags is now one of my 'creative zen' projects.

Beautiful tags Rinda - and very useful. I end up surfing if I have spare time ... or fiddling with whatever project I have on the go ... which is why they take me forever to complete!

If I have only a little time I tend to pick up my knitting rather than make my way up all those stairs, but increasingly I'm finding that tags and cards are cute short term projects too. Your lovely tags will be sure to come in useful.

Brads on tags - such a simple yet effective way to use them. I'm writing that down!
