Look Up/Look Down #25: In the Park

Walking through the park on my way to work today, I noticed the distinct change in the seasons. Looking up at the "June gloom" through the eucalyptus trees (gone are the blue skies of spring) and looking down at the golden grasses (no longer green). Have you noticed seasonal changes where you are? Thanks to Helena for starting the look up//look down meme, a weekly photography challenge which helps me notice and document my life from a different perspective.

interesting that your grass has dried with summer - ours is looking particularly green and lush

They say here that we are at least a month behind in our seasonal changes because the weather has been so poor. Not really any change there then!

Quite green and lush here on the South Coast of UK, but very dry now and I guess it won't be long before our grass goes brown:(

I love the colours in this pair Rinda.

Very green and lush here....and on sunny days [which we are sadly lacking this year] the skies are very blue. I tend to really love June.

I find this interesting too. As the others have said our Junes are often very blue and green. I love the details you always manage to capture Rinda.

we are in the midst of a hot & humid streak. After the way-too-much rain earlier this month, our plants are very confused.

Everything is shades of beautiful greens with blue skies and fluffy clouds except when the almost daily thunderstorms roll in. We are at the point farmers are saying "Enough!!" with the rain but the flowers are glorious.

Since we have been going to Fresno quite a bit this year - sometimes every other week I have noticed so many changes in the landscape. Especially when travelling over Pacheco Pass, it doesn't take long for the hills to turn from green to golden!

The spring flowers are done and summer's blooms are well on their way with all the roses in bloom too. Other than that everything is nice and green and needing watering right this minute what with this heatwave were in.

We won't see any seasonal changes now until the end of August---unless, of course, we get a drought. Looks unlikely given the forecast!
