Wordless Wednesday: Collage
Instead of a photograph this week, I'm posting a collage I made inspired by the Ode to Nature class. Focal image is a photograph I took of an apple blossom bud in my backyard. Started with a spray ink background, added text, map and music paper and then focal image. Outlined with gesso, then added a variety of other images from my stash, skeleton leaf and magic mesh. Finished up with green paint around edges. Although I do a lot of collage, this was in a different style for me.

I like how the photo blends with the rest of the page - this ones seems to make a seamless transition and the effect is almost ethereal ... probably due to the very shallow DoF.
Such a stunning piece of art - beautiful photo.
This is lovely Rinda. As Amy says the photo seems to just blend into the page x
This is just beautiful. All the elements flow together seamlessly.
Simply lovely and I bet it was so much fun to do.
I think it's beautiful. It has a dreamy, thoughtful feel to it and I like that
I love this Rinda! I bet it's even more gorgeous in person where you can see all the texture and layers!
This is beautiful Rinda.I love the papers you have chosen. Magical.
Collage is not my thing but I really like this one.
Your collage is very pleasing and invites me to look closer...a very special way to showcase some of nature's county!
Lovely and inspiring Rinda!

great collage, rinda. the sheet music in the background a perfect "accompaniment" to the photo and the other nature inspired elements, like a symphony.
Very neat looking. It looks digital. Don't take that the wrong way. From my world view it's a compliment. :)
Gorgeous colours and composition, very calming.
Oooo. I love this collage. I feel so out of touch trying to get use to a new job and getting back to work full time. Actually more since I now work out of my home. I have to figure out how to leave work after a decent time. Thank you for your recent comments. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
