Hello Monday

Hello Monday . . .
Hello Gypsy's eyes. I can see them now that she's been properly groomed.
Hello new hospital. Paul is scheduled for round four of chemotherapy this week, in a new hospital (better situated to taking care of him, we hope).
Hello school visit. Clara is going to check out an alternative school on Tuesday. Not sure she'll change schools, but it will be interesting to check it out.
Hello soccer boys. The first organizational meeting of the year is tomorrow.
Hello October art projects.  I'm going to start a new sketching class with Alisa Burke. I plan to focus on fall sketches and also sketches which fit the "Cabinet of Curiosities" theme at The Sketchbook Challege.  I also want to create art for Dias de los Muertos, and, from a journaling perspective, I'm going to participate in a meme called "The Art of Remembering," where each Sunday, a memory is recorded of someone who has passed away. You can read more about it here, but I won't start for another week because this weekend, I will say
Hello Storytelling Sunday looking forward to Sian's monthly gathering, and I already know what my story will be!

Hello Rinda! Hoping that Paul's chemotherapy goes really well and you all feel supported by the new clinic. Wondering which course you are doing? I have a few in my folders to which I keep meaning to return!

Looks like you have a lot of projects heading your way, can't wait to see the results! And Gypsy has some serious puppy eyes! Love them.

I hope the new hospital works out well and the chemo session isn't too rough this time round x

Another wish for a better round of chemo for Paul. This has to be so difficult!

You have a very ambitious creative schedule. I'm starting a new photography course with Kat in October and have barely begun the Sketchbook class I signed up for with Alisa.

Hope that the new hospital proves to be the best choice for Paul.
Gypsy, you are adorable and I love that we can see your big puppy-dog eyes now!
Will be interesting to see what Clara thinks about the new school. Quite a decision to make but I am sure you will all make the right one!

Hello Rinda! Glad you like the dragonfly and flower on my second canvas. I am really getting into my painting stride now!

I am interested in your October art projects, specially the Sketchbook Challenge. When at Uni, I made a cabinet of curiosities for my final degree show. I would love to join in with this Challenge.

Good luck to Paul.

Cheers, Andy

Sounds like Monday has quite a bit in store for you! Hope it all goes well! What a cute pup you have! We had our dog groomed after we let his hair get too long (and hence matted) so when they trimmed him they basically shaved him. We can still easily see his eyes 2 months after the "haircut". We are beginning to wonder if it will ever grow back.

Wookie loves making cabinets - it's just way down on his list right now :sigh: Hope you enjoy all the art challenges. Holding Paul in the light for the chemo too.
