It's a fantastic dahlia, from the Dahlia Garden in Golden Gate Park.
And I wasn't the only one who decided to photograph these beautiful blossoms!
Do you ever run into other photographers stalking your ZIZO's? And did I fool you today?
A blog for my art, with a little life thrown in.

beautiful and yes like a sea anemone - love the capture of another photographer too
Yes, it definitely looked like a sea anemone. The power of suggestion is a fascinating thing!
Absolutely gorgeous, and I often find fellow photographers in the same spot where I'm taking photos.
Didn't fool me - but it is a GORGEOUS shot! When I was shooting the water lilies at Longwood Gardens last year, I could barely get near the flowers. There was easily a dozen photographers in that small exhibit!
The Feedly shot misled me but I knew once I was on your blog, they are beautiful.
It's beautiful & does resemble a sea anemone!
Clever suggestive post title and beautiful blooms. I knew it wasn't underwater though so I was puzzled ...
I rarely see other photographers when I'm out and about :-(
I knew it wasn't an anemone or underwater but wasn't certain of the type of flower until the fuller shot.
Was intrigued to learn that dahlias were first grown as a food crop. And that in Texas dahlias are pronounced differently than in the UK ;)
Gorgeous!
oh that pinkness! that dahlia makes me swoon!! what a fantastic garden.
lovely...and I love sneaking photos of other photographers too..
Beautiful!
It really does look like a sea anemone. Two great looking zizos. I've really fallen off the zizo wagon the past couple of months and need to get back on it.
