What's your style?

I love swaps. I love sending things out in the mail and receiving things from around the world. I signed up for Sian's "pile of post cards" swap and will be mailing out my selections tomorrow. I've also been working on a progressive swap called "Faces in the World," where I receive a semi-finished face and add what I want to complete it. I recently received this face:
And turned her into this:
But that's not what I wanted to write about today. I wanted to write about another swap I just joined, sponsored by a blog called A Swap for All Seasons. The swap called for me to send a card, a tag and some items from my stash which are "in my style."
Hmmm . . . what would that be exactly? I think my style is mixed media, which includes a lot of my own photography and ephemera collected in my travels. I use a lot of women and a lot of quotes. I like stamping, inks and paint. So, I went through my stash and came up with two cards and two tags which I think capture my style. They're at the top of today's post.
And here are the items I gathered from my stash that I think capture my style:
It was a fun exercise, and I hope my recipient likes my style! LOL! How would you describe your style? What card and/or tag would you select to represent your style? What would you put in a "destash package" that represented your style?

I don't do a lot of painting or cards/tags, but I love all things connected to nature. Like feathers, shells, leather etc. And I LOVE Colors! So maybe that's it.

Those cards and tags definitely represent what I think of as your style. This sounds like a fun swap :)

My style? Clean lines with paint and ink softening them, bright colours, not too much dimension but some bling. Used to fight it but now just embrace it but also enjoy stretching out of it.

I'm actually doing a similar thing with Art to the 5th - sending out happy mail to other DLP'ers. My packages include a doily, some book paper, a bit of sewing pattern tissue, prima flowers, and lots of other little bits from my stash. And of course butterflies!

I think I'd find that quite a hard challenge, summing up my style in a couple of tags, but you've risen to it.

I've really no idea what I'd categorise my style as....sometimes it's 'cute' and sometimes it's 'vintage'....and virtually always layered....maybe a whole pile of varied embellishments is what I should send!!
I'd certainly agree with your choices for capturing your style.

Mmm...maybe "fresh vintage"? would that be me? There used to be a shop here called "Fresh Garbage"...definitely not that lol!

Goodness x
I would find this really hard as I don't think I really have a style as such.
I love that you have included some of your own photos x

You picked perfect examples of your style---which I love, but it's almost at the opposite end of the spectrum from mine which is definitely Clean & Simple. What's great about sharing ideas with others is how much we can enjoy and appreciate someone else's style, even though it's not ours. I've been thinking about that a lot recently as I'm beginning to delve into some art journaling.

You've put together a lovely collection there! And you have made that face come alive - I really enjoyed comparing them and seeing what you did.

I think you've done a great job choosing things that represent your style. I'm not sure that I have a style, but I know I'd include things with lots of happy colors!

Wow! I've never done a swap, maybe I should join in one!

Oooh, good question. My style is plain and simple. Right now I don't even know what is in my stash (been organizing all the digital stuff and ignoring the "real" stuff). I love what you did to the "face" - it really makes it come alive.
