One of my favorite parts of my son's soccer game comes at the end. Win or lose, the boys come over as a team to salute the fans and thank them for their support. This was taken after a very nice 3-1 win, which put the boys into the championship game (to be played this Saturday). It's a lovely tradition, don't you think? ******************************************************************** By the way, Kim Klassen has some free printable gift tags (and a nice give-away) in her post here. Check it out.

It's commendable that the boys appreciated the support and love of their parents and fans at each game.
I like this tradition. Our school sports teams never did this and I think we should! We do have match teas afterwards though. Do you have that in the states? xxxx
Just had a catchup Rinda....it was lovely to read about how you celebrate Christmas and I agree that the gesture shown by Henry's team is great to see Alison xx

It is indeed a great gesture - and nicely photographed too.
This is really cool! I've never seen a team to that before.
That's a really cool tradition....some British teams do that as well.

It's a great tradition and in this day of so much aggression on the pitch it's lovely to see x
