Look Up/Look Down #37: Seasons Change

The view off my deck this week. It really feels like summer is truly over, with the shift in the weather. Even when it's sunny, it's much cooler these days. And we have many more days like this - drippy, cool and grey. Another sign of the change in seasons - as the college kids have all gone away, their beer pong table (it's a drinking game - don't ask) has been pushed aside.  Looking up at the neighbor's house (previously captured here) ; looking down at our back deck.  Posted as part of the look up//look down challenge started by Helena.

And it's last call to visit yesterday's post and link up your final summer scavenger hunt post and leave a comment letting you know how many of the items you found. I'll pick a winner and post the results tomorrow. THANK YOU so much for playing along this year. I'm having such fun looking through all the links!

Grey and miserable here too, although it is supposed to be sunny according to the weather man!!

Grey here too, though I'm hopeful we'll have some golden autumn days soon. Our streets round here get a lot more busy once the students all arrive back. It's much harder to get a parking space: that's how I know term has started!

We've been having grey here too, but we've been having grey overcast days since May. The difference is the lack of humidity now.

Beautiful photographs, Rinda. Yes I agree and now feel summer is over. I now am back in a new term. But I looking forward to crispy fresh autumn days. Andy

I agree, you can feel the difference even when it's sunny! We've had a fabulously sunny weekend in Chicago, and missed some gray, dreary weather at home.

Yes - more grey skies here too Rinda, but they do bring the scent of autumn - and I have a fondness for this season in spite of the cooler and shorter days. J x

We are having very warm weather again after a damp and rather Autumnal week last wee, hope it lasts!
