Love this photo! I remember gathering eggs at my grandfather's when we were growing up. Nothing better than a really fresh egg!
That was something that I noticed when we were on holiday in the States was all the white eggs in the supermarket. Our hens definitely produce brown ones!

Aww how lovely to have an egg that fresh. My grandparents use to live on the farm that grandfather worked on and I would love going on an egg hunt in the mornings before breakfast - thank you for bringing back that happy memory today x
