Little Pink Houses . . .

Here's my last two rowhouses.  I'm not really a pink girl, but I can work with it if brown or black are thrown in (LOL!).  Anyway, the baggie for this house had everything on this house (except the little girl image).  It also had 4 other choices of patterned paper, another decorative brad, and more flowers and brads. Since there was a lot in the baggie, I figured the sender wanted an ornate house and went with it.  I had lots left-over, which was good because my last baggie only had five things in (3 small metal embellies, a flower girl image and a sentiment).  I used those things, an image from my stash and paper from the first house to make this house:
Since the sender didn't send too much, I decided to go with a more minimalist house.  I hope she likes it!

If you like the row houses and want the ingredients to make a couple of your own, enter my Alice Challenge, posted here.  You have almost a week to enter!

I love the idea of taking a random bag of goodies and creating from that.

And I love the pink and brown color scheme.

I wonder, would a blog-swap like this work? It would certainly be fun :) I've loved all of your houses.

I was never really a "Pink" person, but since my baby niece arrived, I seem to use so much pink! And another baby niece on the way - grown-up niece #2 about to produce her baby any day now! So more pink!!

The little houses are all such fun and very lovely! The pink ones here are cute. A bit cheeky for that last person to send no paper etc for her house.. you should've used a cereal carton lol!

All very nice - I wonder who will win the little bag of goodies for their own "Rowhouse"!

In defense of the people who send fewer things in their baggy....there is NO limit to what you can send..and those that send fewer items are allowing the artist to use more of their own ideas in the creation of the house, i.e.: paints, collaged ephemera, etc for the backgrounds. I found it to be a greater challenge because I had to use my own instincts to create the house. I initiated this challenge and it has been one of the most exciting that I've participated in!!

I'm loving this set of houses. You are so clever to manage to find a different look with every one that you do. I especially like the key on the first one. I've seen fancy keys on a few layouts recently and I really like them. Need to track down some for my collection of goodies I think!

Those are adorable! I'm not much of a pink person either but I think these are a good amount of it

Gorgeous Rinda! I think the real challenge in doing these types of swaps is having to create outside of our box...and you have definitely succeeded! Your recipients are very lucky indeed.
