Messy Little Details: A Summer Trio

My blog friend Carolyn has a weekly photography meme she calls "Messy Little Details." I enjoy this meme, although I only participate sporadically, and I have turned it into a way to share some of my photography edited in picmonkey.  I've had a few photos on my phone that I've been wanting to play with for a while.
The first one is of my cat, J.J., with a quote from Mary Bly.
 The second one is a photograph I took while walking the dog, with a quote from Anatole France:
And the last one is from the open space near my house:
So, can you pick a favorite from these three?

    Gosh! It's a tie for me between dogs and cats and the beautiful path. LOL at the dogs and cats quote, but the second one is OH so thought provoking:) Thanks Rinda!

    My favourite is the middle one taken whilst walking your dog. Like you I always have my camera with me when out with our beautiful German Shepherd, Fleur.
    You never know when you'll come across an item on the scavenger hunt list!

    The first quote is so true it is tempting,I love the second picture but the third picture of what we call Cow Parsley together with a simple quote really strikes home for me.
    Perhaps it's because the plant and the quote are familiar...

    I LOVE cats but the photo with the walk speaks so much of tranquility and peace, it has to be this one! Thanks for sharing such wonderful photos.

    I love that your little cat is showing up regularly in photos, Rinda. It seems like since Lucky arrived I don't have as many shots of Whiskers as I used to.

    These are all great and you've really found the right quotes for each pic - I think the path one of my fave though, I love seeing paths wonder off in the distance.
