5 in 5: At the Beach
My blog friend Sandie has started a new photography meme where you take as many pictures in one location as you can in five minutes and then choose your favorite five to post on the fifth of the month (or sometime close). She calls it "5 in 5," and you can join in this month's linky by clicking here.
I decided to join in this month with five photographs from one of my favorite beaches (all taken on my iphone):
I think these photos give you a sense of place. Do you have a favorite? You can click on any of them to enlarge them and see more detail. Thanks for the challenge Sandi. Anyone else want to join in?
I do love beach shots, I think the 4th is my fav. Great meme I will try to remember for next month
ReplyDeleteCool houses!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard of this meme. I will check it out. Your photos are lovely and as you say they really do give a sense of place.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant collection, and my favourite has to be that last one with those great textures.
ReplyDeleteLove the pier legs!
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic - my favorite is the lone chair on the beach - I could sit there for hours (as long as there was a matching chair for Robbie & lots of sunscreen!).
ReplyDeleteFabulous challenge, Love the cool houses best x
ReplyDeleteIt is different yet familiar all at once. Those little houses are really unique!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cool challenge Rinda. Thanks for the beach visit.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun, and I actually did that today without knowing about the challenge. I'll link up if I get a chance before we leave tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, this does sound like a lot of fun ... love the shot under the pier.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining in Rinda!
ReplyDeleteI love all these photos but the houses stood out for me. Some are very colourful and the top floor reminded me of a periscope - quite apt if they look out to sea!
You have a lovely variety of textures and they make for some interesting photos. I hope you had fun taking them.
Oh these are all lovely - the view down the pier is my favourite, but the sand/shells combo is a close second.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, what a FUN idea! And yes, it does give a real sense of place in the five photos that you chose to share. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love looking through the piers on the fourth photo. It always makes me wonder what is hiding behind them.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fun meme. The second photo is my favorite followed by the colorful homes.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo under the pier but also the one of the pebbles... mmmh, off to check out this même which sounds interesting and might help me take more photos...
ReplyDeleteWhat neat looking houses. So bright and cheery right by the coast.
