PPF: Simple Spirals

A simple painting to share with Paint Party Friday today.  But, it still calls to me and it may be my favorite creation this week. I usually have trouble learning to love white space but not today. It was inspired by the this month's prompt at the Sketchbook Challenge (spirals). What do you think? Is it too simple?

I love the simplicity of it, as well as the contrast between the vintage stamp and the abstract background. Happy PPF!

I agree with Amy - and love that your artistic flair still shines with the placement of the spirals as a group

I found this on pintrest and thought of your work.
The spiral is one of the oldest and most universal symbols. It represents the cosmic force, a doorway to life, the cycles of time and nature, spiritual journey.
Happy PPF

always love me some spirals! and yes, I think 'simple' is harder in many ways. I sometimes have trouble 'knowing when to stop!' happy PPF!

I think at times we need the white space to relax the mind. I actually am enjoying this! Hope you have a great weekend!

Spiralas might be simple but they give so much thought when glanced upon. I adore hunting for ammonites and usually I find most with open crystal spirals....magical! I actually found some this morning on my walk with Grace( my dog ) : )

Your whimsical spirals and vintage stamp work beautifully together, like it very much!

I don't think it's too simple. It is very brave to let white space be blank - it's hard to do! This painting speaks to me, I like it very much.

Very nice. Balanced and the white space leaves room for thought -- plus there is that intriguing little stamp. Great job!
