PPF: More Paintless Pages

Last week for Paint Party Friday, I posted some "paintless" pages and wondered if it was okay. A HUGE thank-you to everyone who visited and said that it was just fine (or even better than fine) to post them because PPF is all about the art.  I so love the PPF community! My goal this week is to do a better job of getting around to visit and comment on the other posts.  If you want to see this week's posts, check out this link.  Today, I'm posting a few more "dry" or paintless art journal pages.  The one up top is about how much I rely on the ocean as a calming influence in my life and why I choose to live near the sea.  This next page is about how my head is often full of so many different thoughts that I sometimes feel a little crazy:
I had a little trouble with the white balance on these next two - one about what a big role international travel has played in our lives and one about how I miss being able to have the ability/freedom to be able to make plans to spend time with friends.  They aren't really this blue in real life.
Thanks for visiting and for commenting - I love to hear what you say.  I'm particularly curious about whether you have any favorites in this batch of pages. Happy PPF everyone!

Lovely pages... I like seeing the style that runs through them ... even though they are quite different they still look like they belong together... awesome...xx

I like these - living near the sea is something I don't do but often think about. Near water is necessary for me. Glad you had people from the PPF community comment 'cause I think they fit but know I'm not a painter.

Complete aside - I love that coaster about Smart Women, it made me smile :)

A lovely series of pages,Rinda....the first is my favourite....partly because I love the style of it....and partly because I empathise with the sentiment behind it....I too love the sea and find it both calming and life affirming.

I am glad you have a supportive group of artists over at PPF - I like the first two pages. I'm a sea girl too and I like the honesty in the second page.

Fabulous pages Rinda! I too love the sea and can't imagine not living nearby. I love the way it's different every day.

By the Sea is my favorite because it resonated with me. I love the ocean, visit it whenever possible and dream about living near it (okay really I dream of my 2nd home, a palace of sorts with the ocean right outside my windows). Have a wonderful weekend and Happy PPF!

I think I'm going to say the first one too - though that seems a little unfair to the others which are also very good to look at. They might not have paint; but they do have a painterly look

The first and last are my favorites. I feel the same about being near water and I had a huge smile as soon as I saw the lovely bathing beauty. The last I love the blues and yellow together, the handwritten journaling laid out as background and those photos are awesome. Hoping you and yours have a glorious weekend and just maybe you slip in a nap ;)

I like the second one because there are days I feel just like that.

Your pages are all so soothing and calming. I love how the "paint' part of PPF can be so loosely interpreted. It's so inspiring to see what everyone is doing, whether it involves actual paint or not. It does inspire me to paint more than I might in a typical week, and I like that. Take care.

Sweet pages!! I too love the ocean!! I always find it so calming and a conduit for good energy.I would hate to live more than 40 minutes away from it. Thankfully living on the west coast it's 15-35 minutes away in many directions!! I am blessed!! Thanks for sharing!!

Great looking pages Rinda. I particularly like the first and last ones. They both really hit home with me.

They are all good but I come from a SO CAL beach area and love that one.. but then I love Paris too. so both of those reel me in. Thanks for your comment about my drawings, I hope you do try sketching your pets. Its rather fun if you just let go and not worry to much about the details. HPPF

The first one is my favourite, but that might be because of my love of the sea too. I do like the vintage lady image on it too! x

Oh my goodness, I like them all & can't seem to pick a favorite. I bought a blank sketch book & am hoping to do some collages this year - your pages are great inspiration as I don't want to paint, just collage with a variety of elements. Thanks for sharing.
