Storytelling Sunday: "It's easy, mom!"

Clara: "Can I have your old camera mom?"
Me: "Yes you can, once you learn how to use it."
Clara: "I know how to use it mom.  It's easy. See?"
Yes, my love, I do.

love the photo and dialogue format - I guess 'use it' has a range of meanings!!

She's right, she just hasn't learnt all the tricks to taking excellent pictures yet. That'll be next week

The thing with kids is that they aren't afraid to experiment and we all learn best by actually 'doing' rather than just reading about things. So 'bravo!' Clara, and let's see some of her photos here very soon!

What a beautiful face - she looks radiant! and what a lovely example of a short short story with a memory to hang onto. I love it.

Of course she knows how to use it ... she knows everything! LOL I have two teenage boys just getting like this.

This is in the same vein as my post today. My kids can pick up any piece of technology and immediately start using it. They seem to intuitively know what each button is for and they aren't afraid to experiment. Me, I want a manual with pictures!

unfortunately when my daughter got hold of my camera saying she knew how to use it, she wiped the memory card and lost the photos from her hallowe'en party and a family trip to the zoo.

So fun to see the next generation of photographers starting to learn all the tricks - hope she has fun with your old camera and shares the photos with you.

So, will she let you teach her anything about that camera? I guess she'll figure it out okay.
Love her smile in that photo, even with the big "flash" reflection. She's gorgeous, Rinda!
