Finally finished!

My blog friend Karen has chosen "finish" as her word for 2011, and that something I can relate to.  Last Sunday I took a class with Connie and stayed afterwards to finish up some pieces, including this collage I made with street art from Paris. You may recall it from when I asked for your input in this post.  Sorry for the rotten picture, but my computer is feeling a bit ill and I'm limping along using DS Henry's computer. Hopefully mine will get fixed soon.
It felt really good to finish this piece.  Is there something you've finished lately?

You know what ... not to sound boring and one dimensional - but - I would really like my house to be finished SOON!

This is a great vibrant piece today Rinda - I hope your computer is fixed soon and you are whipping around the internets again in no time :-)

I just love the colours in this piece,Rinda....and some really interesting pieces of art on it....street art is always so fascinating.
I can also relate to 'finish'....I start too many things before I've finished others!!

this piece looks great! i like how you used primary colors in an atypical style. i am a great starter but not so good at finishing although that feels so satisfying when it happens, like you say.

"Finish" is a really great word to hold onto alright! Recently I finished putting a lot of layouts into albums - boring but necessary, and now it's done.

I love the street art you find in Europe and these are great examples. Love the way you have picked out the primary colours in the photos.

That's quite a piece of work, Rinda - I love the colour and texture in it, also how well the background offsets the pictures of the street art.
Hope your computer is soon "all better"!
I seem to have found my "finishiative" recently - I have finished a Sock Monkey, a Wedding Album, a 70th Birthday Card, paying some bills and several loads of laundry, all in the last few days!!

And it looks good, too! Wonderful colors, I like the blue-yellow contrast, and all that street art is fascinating. Very beautiful.
Just today I finished my first "real" art journaling page and I'm quite happy about it. However, there are still some unfinished projects hanging around...
