"She" is an inspiration

The book She, by Kobi Yamada, is full of inspiring quotes about women.  In the past, I've used the quotes as the basis for a tag swap and a fat book stamping technique class that I taught.  I'd forgotten about it until recently when I found it while tidying up.  It seemed liked a good starting point to complete this little minialbum project from the Club Scrap Sonoma Collection.  I think it would make a nice graduation gift for someone special.  Here are the inside pages:
I took these pictures on portrait mode as an assignment for the Get Out of Auto Mode class I'm taking, and I like the bokeh in the background.  Want to be inspired by some other amazing women?  Come check out the All About Me/My Favorite Things blog hop starting tonight at 10:00 California time and going on for the weekend.

The quotes are just great....and you're so right about it being a perfect graduation present.

Cool bokeh! This is a perfect graduation present. I love the quotes especially "she woke up one morning and threw away all her excuses" I've never heard that before. Brilliant!

I love the bokeh too, but I love the book more! Gorgeous little album, full of inspiring quotations. Can't wait to see what you've made for tomorrow! xx

This is one of my favorite projects of yours. I love everything about it---and the bokeh is beautiful. I love when that happens. I know you're supposed to be able to make it happen, but I've never quite figured that out!

Oh, Rinda, I love everything about this post. The photos, the book, the pictures and quotes in the book, and the idea of the project itself. Very nice.

Can't wait to see your take on the "All About Me" project.

I love seeing this project complete, since I was there when she put it together. What a great theme for this mini-album!

I so want to learn how to get the bokeh effect... my camera doesn't have portrait mode so I'm going to have to figure it out somehow!
