Monday Art Journal Page

Are you exhausted from the weekend?  If so, here's a simple art journal page to get your week off to a fresh start.  It's in response to the Creative Therapy prompt "How has art saved you?"  Background is glimmer mists and pastels.

Yes I am exhausted from the weekend and yes I do like to see your beautiful art today - it is just what I needed! This is truly a happy page and I can just see you soaring with happiness in your studio :-)

Well, yes it was a rather exhausting weekend! Lots to do and a very hot day yesterday, which rather sapped our energy, as it suddenly became hot, so we didn't have time to adjust. Still, it was a good weekend, as we had my two nieces and their little ones visiting yesterday, all day. We had a lovely time (and slept like logs!).

That is a really lovely page, Rinda. The background is great and I love your little photo and the cloud of butterflies. My favourite colour-scheme too!

What a delightful way to start the day! Who is that darling girl on the chair? What a perfect photo for the page, and I love those mists.

As a matter of fact, I AM exhausted from the weekend. Sounds like everyone else is in the same boat! I love your page - especially those cute butterflies punched from book pages and used as masks.

Have a great week, Rinda!

Love the way you have also painted over the butterly shapes to make a background of butterlies on the paper as well as the embellishment ones. Lovely!
