Pass the Book: Last Call

I have been enjoying Trading Card Treasures: Sharing Cherished Photographs by Carol Heppner, which I received as part of Pass the Book: Year Two, hosted by Melissa of Daily Life - Bits & Pieces (read the details of how Pass the Book works here).  The book is all about how to use photographs when making Artist Trading Cards (some times called ATC's or ACEO's). My favorite techniques in the book were about making multi-page cards.  I made a little Marilyn Monroe mini-album based on one of the ideas in the book. The front and back covers are up top. Here are the interior pages:
I was intrigued by the book because I have so many collage sheets, and I'm always looking for new ways to use my images. Plus, I enjoy creating in the ATC format (2.5x3.5 inches).  The book is very good for beginners and has a few ideas for intermediate or advanced ATC artists. The instructions are very clear and could be used for any age group.
I posted once before to see who was interested, and the names I currently have in the draw are:
Scrappy Jacky
Carola
Deb
Mel
Julia
If you are interested in the book but aren't on the list, let me know. I'll pull a name tomorrow night (Monday, Nov. 19) and post the winner on Tuesday. Please remember that, with Pass the Book, once you've had it for a while, you need to offer it up to others and pass it on . . .

I can't believe I stumbled on your blog again, after so much time has passed, and I find Marilyn and her quotes. I've been toying with an idea of "Mini Marilyn" acrylic paintings AND lately I've been using quotes with my drawings...so inspirational to find you again. ♥

Btw, YES, let me know about the book. I'd be interested to learn more.

I am definitely interested in the book Rinda. I've done a few fabric ATCs and absolutely love them. New techniques and ideas are always welcome. Oh, and the fact that they are pretty much instant gratification works too! Love your Marilyn ATCs.

Glad to see my name on the list because for a moment I couldn't remember whether I'd signed up or not! My memory is completely shot right now, I blame the pain relief.... Love your mini album :)

Your little mini-album is lovely - I like the tape/little handles (?). I think I'd be not be included in your generous offer as I really can't take on any more paper-related interests right now, but it looks like a great read.

Your Marilyn ATC book is fabulous! Your ATC's work so well with her- she is so flamboyant and your ATC's surround and support her perfectly!
