Hello Aria! Clara got a dog today. Aria is just over a year old. She's a smooth collie with a brindle coat who weighs just over 30 pounds. She is really, really sweet! She's active but not hyper. Still working on the house-training, but it's just her first day. Clara is committed to being a good dog owner, and we're hoping the responsibility will be good for her. Aria and Gypsy get along just fine:
And her "official" portrait from the Humane Society website (since I only have the iphone photos I've taken so far).
What a cute addition to your family! So glad to hear Paul sailed through the chemo; what an ordeal this all has been.
ReplyDeleteMy week is looking pretty nice--today is a day all to myself as Tracy has gone golfing (rare that we have such beautiful weather in November); Wednesday we're going on a little tour in the Finger Lakes, and Thursday we'll be celebrating the holiday at Tracy's sisters. This weekend is Bill's memorial service so all the family (less grandchildren who can't make the trip) will be in town for the holiday.
so cute and great to hear Paul is home again
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear about Paul....and that looks like a lovely new addition to your family.
ReplyDeleteI've got a pretty busy week with work....but have got half a day out shopping tomorrow....hoping to get some Christmas gifts in the bag!!

ReplyDeleteA very happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Rinda. With lots of love! xo
Both your dogs look like such characters & I'm so with you that being responsble for a pet is a great way for kids to learn good lessons for later life! Have a great week....looks like we're going to have a very cold/wet one here in the UK!!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a beauty! So pleased that Paul's doing well, I've been thinking of you xx
ReplyDeleteShe's so pretty, and what a lovely name. My children have taken so well to being pet owners (only a hamster, but still a responsibility)
ReplyDeleteSo glad Paul's doing so well and hope you have a lovely (shorter in some ways) week. And that there'll be time for creative things too :).
ReplyDeleteAria is so pretty, and it looks like she has a lovely nature too! Good news re Paul 's treatment, hope he continues to improve.

Oh what a sweetie! Glad Clara has a new dog - pet ownership is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteMy week just got a wee bit less hectic - the two appointments this afternoon cancelled :happy sigh: Taking a late lunch break and planning some crafting and blogging this afternoon.
She's lovely! Our dog has the same brindle coat. So happy to hear Paul is home again. I hope the chemo treatments aren't too harsh on him.. Our week is short here too, just two days of school for the kids & sounds like they are watching movies both days.
ReplyDeleteGood news about Paul....and glad Gipsy is coping with the new addition!
