A Touch of Autumn
During my recent trip to the Union Cemetery in Redwood City, I took lots of photographs to mark the beginning of Autumn. I used PicMonkey to create this simple collage. Is it starting to look like Autumn where you are yet?
p.s. If you participated in the 2012 Summertime Photograph Scavenger Hunt, you have until tonight to leave a comment on Friday's post (click here) in order to enter the random draw for a great photography prize.
That's a lovely grouping, Rinda - I especially like that path through the greenery. Up here, it's beginning to colour but not a lot yet.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Rinda. I love the border colour you chose. I am a few hundred miles south of Alexa but our Autumn is only just beginning.
ReplyDeleteDespite cooler temperatures, there hasn't been much change here yet. Our neighbor's tree (always the first to turn and a brilliant red) is just beginning to change. Your collage is lovely. I've yet to try PicMonkey. Have you tried to print any of your collages?
ReplyDeleteFab collage Rinda - I think that the coloured border really gives it extra zing!
ReplyDeleteLove how you've put this together,Rinda....autumn colours are wonderful....and it's definately starting to feel like autumn here...though not yet really looking like it.
ReplyDeleteStunning collage of all the things I love about autumn.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely starting to look autumnal with you, then :) Only a few signs here - except for the much colder weather, brrr!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I only just realised you said 'Autumn' rather than 'Fall' :)
ReplyDeleteWe aren't getting the colors just yet but I am hopeful for the next weekend or so to go up into the mountains for leave viewing
ReplyDeletewell the leavesh havent turned yet but the weather is distinctly cooler and today its raining and i got out my crochet,

Beautiful photos! We haven't seen any signs of fall here yet, other than a little cooler temperatures. Of course, there's lots of orange on the main road leading to our subdivision since they've decided to widen the road! :(
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures Rinda. Autumn does have its charm too ! xx
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of Autumn Rinda.
ReplyDeleteAutumn is coming! I was beginning to wonder if it would show up here and it is just starting to turn into those rich reds and oranges!
ReplyDeleteWonderful autumnal collage, Rinda. The framing shows off your photographs beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI'm ruefully saying that it actually looks like winter here today - so dark already that I have all the lights on!
ReplyDeleteI love autumn, so autumnal photos are right up my street. A fine collection.
It's the typical Southern September Fall ya'll, the nights are getting cooler but we had a hi of 90 the other day. Mid October should start the colors for us.
ReplyDeleteGreat textures and colours, Autumn hasn't really started yet here only the rain!! I really like how the frame compliments all the photographs in the collage. Andy
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful things are looking up north. We are entering Fire season. No color except dead brown. We're still experiencing beautiful warm weather and no moisture in our area of So. Cal. There may be a tinge of pink beginning on our elm tree leaves.
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely! No sign of Fall here yet though (especially when we are still wearing shorts!!!)
ReplyDeleteLove your collage. There are a few signs of autumn here, but the main one is how cold it's getting! x
