Hello Monday (a meme sponsored by Lisa Leonard). . .
Hello Art Journals - so happy to be working in them again. I love my camera and sketchbook, but my art journals really help me work things out.
Hello last three weeks of summer for the children - time to balance fun with "back to school."
Hello last two weeks of summer for me - time to start getting ready for the beginning of my term. Luckily, I'm only teaching one class this semester.
Hello hospital - Paul starts his second round of chemotherapy today, and that means 3-4 days in the hospital. He's doing really well so far, but now things will be getting harder. Thoughts and prayers for strength and healing definitely appreciated. And a huge thanks for all the cards I've been receiving. Each one brightens my day!
Hello Alisa Burke - I signed up for her "Ode to Nature" class which begins today. I think it's just what I need to bring together the various strands of art that I've been doing. Anyone else in the class?
Hello photo scavenger hunt - I really enjoyed the Saturday link-up! Thanks to everyone who participated. The linky is open for the rest of the day, so if you're participating and haven't had a chance to add your post, you still have time. Everyone else is welcome to come visit as well. I still have seven of the twenty-one items left to find, but I think I know where to find them.
Good luck for the next stage of chemo - you can get through this!
ReplyDeletePositive thoughts coming your way.
ReplyDeletethinking of you both. Love the journal page - powerful pledge
ReplyDeleteThinking of you all as you start round two of Paul's treatment. Do keep us informed of his progress.

ReplyDeleteThoughts and prayers are with you all as Paul's new round of chemo starts.
ReplyDeleteJust heading over to check out everyone's links from Saturday.
I will ask Our Lady of Guadalupe to give you and Paul strength, patience and faith.
ReplyDeleteGood wishes for Paul's recovery and for your sanity. Our neighborhood is going to be very quiet when the children go back to school. I'll miss them but I won't miss the screaming little girls always seem to do. Why is that?
ReplyDeletehoping things go okay with Paul, now that he's getting into the tough part my continued thoughts and prayers!
ReplyDeleteLove, hugs and prayers from here...for you all!
ReplyDeleteAlison xx

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new class, looks a load of fun.
Missed the link-up as only just back from holiday, but going to post some more Hunt pictures soon.
lol x
Was praying for Paul this morning and wondered how he was doing, thanks for the update.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Paul is doing well - I'll definitely keep in my prayers as he begins the treatments.
ReplyDeleteI have 7 more photos to find, also. I have some posted today & need to get one more ready, then it's time to get serious about finding those last 7 - that just might be our project this weekend to get us out for a bit despite the heat!
Rinda - I can't believe I'm so out of touch I didn't know about Paul! I've just hastily caught up on your recent posts. Sending my love and support and prayers, belated but very heartfelt xx
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for you & Paul! I had planned to participate in the link up, but with moving Sarah and trying to catch back up with life in general, it didn't happen. But I have a bunch of photos to post!!!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed the Saturday browse and inspiration - thanks for organizing that.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the last few weeks of summer, hope the preparation for class goes smoothly and holding Paul and his medical team in the light.
May the magic medicine make miracles.
Sending healing thoughts your way! Your art journal has such a powerful message in it (and pretty art too!). Tomorrow is the first day of school for my kids & me. If I didn't have my art journals I don't think I would be able to sort out anything in my life.
ReplyDelete<3 sending you, and Paul lots of love and hugs, Rinda. <3 I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI love this page it's vibrancy just shouts out. Take care and I'm sending you strength and healing thoughts.
