Let's Celebrate - Photo Scavenger Hunt Linkup (Aug. 4)
The 2012 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt is going strong! We have over 70 participants, and it's been such fun to see posts popping up all over blogland. This Saturday, August 4, I'll be hosting a mid-summer link up party. So, I'm encouraging all participants to create a blog post about the Scavenger Hunt and post it on Saturday. Then, stop by my blog and add a link to your post. The final step? Go visit some other hunters to see what they are up to. What should your post be about? It can be anything related to the Scavenger Hunt. Blog a recent or favorite find. Describe the challenges and triumphs you've experienced while doing the scavenger hunt. Post an explanation about why you haven't had a chance to get started yet! The point is to have fun, just like these women I found dancing in the Barcelona subway.
Which of course would be Item #15 Someone Dancing in the Summertime Scavenger Hunt.
Just this minute I was searching through your posts for the date of the link up! Great timing!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if I will go with a favourite ... or the outtakes!
I look forward to seeing all the posts Rinda. Am still collecting while cruising down the Rhine. The hardest to find has been a movie poster...there are more bridges and angels than I can poke a stick at. Musicians, people dancing, piers outdoor stairs... all in abundance.
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliantly timed for me Rinda! Although I'd found a fair few of the challenges before I went on holiday, I managed to find Portuguese versions while I was out there too and I was planning to do the 'duplicate foreign version' at some stage - and here you have given me the perfect opportunity!
ReplyDeleteJust love those photos,Rinda....so completely natural...what got them dancing,I wonder?
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea and the dancing girls are perfect!
ReplyDeleteJust finished my post for Saturday. Looking forward to seeing others!
ReplyDeleteLove the dancing ladies!
ReplyDeleteI'll visit when I can, but can't promise to link up on saturday as we only have internet when we come to the British bar
ReplyDeleteHm...well, I'm a little early today with my post. I'll be visiting my mom on the 4th and may not be on the computer. I'll try to get on at some point and link up to the post I published this morning.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the ladies dancing in the subway! :o)
That photo has me dancing too. You can see they are having lots of fun. I wonder what got them dancing and to what song.
ReplyDeleteThe dancing thing is really proving a challenging one for me though Mayhem has volunteered to dance if I still need the photo at the end of August. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm getting my post together now!
I'll be at a wedding on August 4, but I'll try to link up. Unfortunately, this wedding is for an older couple so she won't be dressed as a traditional bride. I'll keep trying to find one.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to posting some of my photos. I've yet to find dancers..
ReplyDeleteAh I already have a post lined up for Saturday, but will start putting some scavenger shots on my blog soon. I'll be visiting everyone else to see what they have so far though :o)
ReplyDeleteoh what a fun time it looks like!!!
ReplyDeleteHow come they weren't there while I was?! Will be there on Saturday!
