It's an imperfect photo - taken on my iphone with poor lighting and only slightly cooperative subjects. But it says so much. Henry and his pals, Reese and Cole, at the Men's Wearhouse. Picking out tuxes for their Junior Prom.
Prom! It seems like just yesterday that these boys started t-ball together; played 4th grade basketball (with amazing final scores like 6-2); traveled to Cooperstown as 12-year olds; graduated from middle school . . . and now, they're visiting colleges and picking out tuxes for prom.
The unstated blessing in all this is the friendship they have forged with each other. A rock solid group of friends taking another step on life's journey.
An imperfect photo, capturing a perfect moment in time.

Doesn't matter about the quality...it's the memory that's important..I love that Kirsty has such a group of friends too!
Alison xx
This is an exciting moment in their lives. It is scary how life will change for these boys in just a couple of months. Remind them to enjoy these moments because life will go by "mas pronto que quick" (hubbies little saying).
A memory to keep forever.
Perfect, I look forward to seeing a page using that photo, will be a change for you to scrap just one photo I challenge you :D
Sigh ... it can't be wrong to bottle them up and freeze time, can it? Really?
Oooh yes, great challenge Mary, I second the challenge!
Freezing time - yes, I'm feeling like that too at the moment. All this talk of college, looking at those handsome faces I know so well and wondering where they'll all be a few years from now. Bitter sweet doesn't even begin to cover it
Ben has a group like this too and I think it is wonderful and quite agree that a rock solid group of friends is so important for them. Great photo :)
My grandson is turning 21 at the end of the month and I can't believe how time goes by! Great picture capturing a perfect moment in time! Isn't Cooperstown a wonderful little place?
It might be a challenge to scrap just one photo, but your journaling certainly won't be a problem! It is a perfect photo in so many ways!
I don't know aboout you,but boys never want to pose for a photo. I think this is lovely - a perfect moment captured x
prom, graduation, friendship - your imperfect photo captures some young men in a brief moment of stillness on an exciting, rapid journey into adulthood.
On the cusp of adulthood - very moving words Rinda, for a touching memory caught on film!
