I would normally say that I think this shot really lends itself to B&W, but, the colur one is the one I prefer now that I see them side by side. A great shot regardless!
The colour shot has a sepia appearance and therefore more enchanting, it draws you into its depths entices you to want to enter. The b&w seems to have lost the detail and is more an overall grey.
For me, it's a toss-up! I like both of them for different reasons, but the previous comments sum up the emotions the two photographs evoke, so I think you'd choose based on what you wanted to communicate.
1. A "wild heart" - a naturally occurring heart (like the rock above, but it doesn't have to be a rock) 2. A footprint or pawprint 3. A skeleton, bone or x-ray 4. A book or magazine read during 2016 5. A porch or deck 6. A camper (caravan) 7. A family gathering 8. A drawing, art project, artistic photograph, scrapbook page, greeting card, or art journal page created by you. 9. Someone playing with, in, or around water. 10. A bicycle 11. Fresh produce 12. A window 13. The moon 14. A buffet of food 15. A team logo 16. A map showing a trip taken during the time period 17. Twins 18. A supermarket cart, basket or trolley full of groceries 19. A seasonal cocktail or beverage 20. Someone laughing 21. A photograph of you with a newspaper or calendar page from the time period covered in the Hunt. Note: you may not use a substitute for this item. Alternatives - if you're having trouble finding any of the above, you may substitute from this list (but you may not substitute for item #21): alternative 1: a lighthouse alternative 2: a baby (human or animal)

Hi Rinda! I prefer the color picture, it sure is a beautiful photo!
Like Amy - I expected to like the b&w better - but the colour shot is amazing!

For me the b&w one is stark and a little eerie; the colour one is warm and inviting - so I guess which I prefer depends on what it's being used for.

I'm liking the soft colouring of the top one most ...
I like them both....though the b + w definately has a spooky feel to it.
the black and white shot looks like something from a fairy tale. and that's where enchanted forests are, aren't they? :-)
Both are fabulous, but I prefer the first one. It carries more magic for me, something mysterious.
The top one! It is magical. no doubt about it
I prefer the colour shot - the b+w one would be good for halloween though, it looks scary! x
wow amazing and I definately love the first one very mystical love it x
the B&W one looks almost sepia ... the bottom one reminds me of snow or something .. i dont think i prefer either one, both are amazing!
