And sometimes I even scrapbook . . .
So, the other day after I was done making art journal pages, I started putting stuff away and came across a bunch of Halloween embellishments. Since I had this page started, I added a few of them (alright, a lot of them) and finished it up! I don't scrapbook nearly as often as I used to. Right now it's only about once a month. And it feels a little weird to be doing Halloween in March, but so be it! How often are you scrapping and what are you working on?
Very rarely. I was thinking about this recently as I was looking through my scrapbook albums. My memory keeping has evolved through projects like Photo a Day. I have done more mini albums than page layouts in the last year
ReplyDeleteLovely to see one of your pages again,Rinda....and love all the embellishments.
ReplyDeleteI don't scrap as often as I used to either....keep getting sidetracked onto other projects....and,like Helena, probably prefer doing mini albums....have one in progress at the moment....and strangely enough...is also sort of Halloween themed.
I'm still scrapbooking regularly and enjoying it - I did get sidetracked for a while there with a lot of knitting, but I think I'm back on track!
ReplyDeleteit comes & goes but usually I scrap a page a week or so. I also love doing mini books if I have time :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't scraped booked in years...I used to do it every Thursday night. Now that I'm retired I never seem to get to it. I stll want to, but sculpting, hand sewing, computers, family, retired husband, reading, cleaning, jewelry making, etc seem to get in the way.
ReplyDeleteHi Rinda, your layout is awesome with so much bright happy color!!
ReplyDeleteI have been participating in PSL the last few weeks as team Captain of the Lollipops scrapbooking team and have made 378 layouts in 5 weeks. Very happy to have made 4 mini books and got all my Retreat 2010 and Florida trip albums done! I also made 2 8x8 albums for my folks for their anniversary of their recent cruise and an 8x8 album from Wine tasting at Retreat! I think this has been hands down, the most I have ever done during PSL!
Your layout is lovely- it's nice to see one of your pages. I scrapbook most of the time.I do manage other things as well like a bit of crochet and pergamano sometimes though x
ReplyDeleteLove your layout :) Funnily enough I was scrapping Halloween over this past weekend too!
ReplyDeleteAh, I seem to have found my scrapping self again recently - four pages in a couple of weeks! I still have an itch to scrap more stuff, but there's a pile of other work that I must do first...
ReplyDeleteLove the Halloween page -even in March! Looks as if everyone had a very good time that evening.
I have totally slowed down on the scrapbooking LOL! In fact when I was cleaning my space yesterday I actually missed it a bit, so I need to do a page or two to make me feel good. Love your layout with the embellies, very cute!
ReplyDeleteBTW - I just posted on my blog and awarded you a Stylish Blogger Award, no worries if you are not interested. Have a good day :)
Actually, I'm doing a lot more than usual thanks to my OLW project and the BPC class.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love the layout. The embellishments are just perfect---not too many at all.
ReplyDeleteGreat layout, in season or not!!
ReplyDeleteMy scrapping ebbs and flows - I made 4 digi layouts over the weekend, printed them and 3 other digis and finished them off as sort of hybrids; I also made my ArtsyCrafts mini album over the last 2 weekends. If I'm doing an online class I scrap a lot more. Sometimes I go for weeks without scrapping. I've learnt to just go with it, if it's not happening just then it'll start happening again quite naturally when I'm ready!
I love your page, it turned out pretty nice. I love Halloween, it's such a fun Holiday. I scrapbook about once a month too but I have millions of pictures....it's not working out, I need to scrapbook more often, lol.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like me, Rinda. My scrapbooking has become very sporadic. And when I do bust out a 12x12 layout I'm always glad I did it and vow to do it more often!
