Gratitude: Week 1

Thank you to all who sent hugs and left caring messages on my Monday post. We are continuing to work through some issues here at home. But in the meantime, I have been keeping a gratitude list.
Here's a list of the things I have noted this week:
1. Grateful for a day of peace, a good workout, finishing my casebook chapters and rain.
2. Grateful for the time change, being able to fit into my clothes, escaping to work, and cooler temperatures and so I can bundle up.
3. Grateful for good counsel and a college acceptance letter.
4. Grateful for a well-taught class and a good stretch.
5. Grateful for the feel of sunshine on my skin and to be living by the sea.
What are you grateful for this week?

  1. That is a good list, Rinda.
I am grateful for a good preparation for my class, a lovely morning spent with a close friend, a visit to the yarn store, the rain we had at the beginning of the week and that I had time to prepare for my holiday show in December.

  2. Great list! I'm doing 30 Days of Thankful and have come up with a lot myself - quiet time with Family, The Walking Dead (yes, I'm hooked), good health care, Sunshine, a good dentist visit, my job, a very successful Board of Directors meeting with suggested changes well received.

  4. There is indeed so much to be grateful for...
although there are times in life when it can be more difficult to focus than others.
Sending all good wishes your way! oxo

  8. I am grateful that we have the ability to redo our kitchen and I have had to point myself to gratitude daily as I find myself getting irritated by the hiccups in the process.
