As I return to blogging, I'm thinking about a blogging schedule . . .
how often to post and whether to continue following along with different memes.
One of my favorites (and most consistent) memes this year has been Helena's Zoom In/Zoom out photography challenge. I've done 32 out of the 51 weeks this year, which is pretty good for me. I'm not sure what Helena has in store next year, but I'll definitely take a look and consider playing along.
I also enjoyed "Good Fences", hosted each Thursday by the Run*A*Round Ranch blog. I find fences so visually interesting that I was am really drawn to this meme. You can see this week's offerings at this link.
I found this beautiful fence full of flowers at the tree farm last weekend and like that it fulfills both challenges.
As one year ends and a new one begins, I'm wondering. What memes did you like and participate in this year? What are your plans for 2015 memes?
thank you for sharing this with good fences! love the zoom in/zoom out look of this, too. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the flower that comes with the fence :))

I really enjoyed Abi's 'one photo and 20 words' and hope she continues with it.
ReplyDeleteI've managed every week of Zoom In, Zoom Out this year, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It seems to strange to see flowers blooming in December! Nothing here but evergreens!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the A to Z challenge each April and have recently joined Tex in Good Fences. Which I also enjoy a lot. That's it for me and I will probably not do any more than these two.
ReplyDeleteI play along with Skywatch Friday every week - although have been so busy for the last couple of weeks I haven't posted.
ReplyDeleteI play along if I can and never worry about missing a week. Life is too short to worry about small stuff. I do like reading all the blogs and looking at the pictures. I like the workdesk wednseday one and I often see a picture that could go in the ZiZo but then I forget to post - still good to read though
ReplyDeletewow- this was last week!! I am so jealous as I am under a foot or 2 of snow....and no lovely flowers at all.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to Helena's 2015 theme and am looking for some new ones...probably ones specifically for iPad photography and apps.
It's so good to see you here again, Rinda! I'm glad you're okay and so is your family.
ReplyDeleteI probably will stick with Theresa's fence theme simply because I love to take pictures of fences. The other memes I really like are "Texture Tuesday" and "Friday Finds", both by Kim Klassen.
Pretty flowers around fence. I join G fences, S Critters, W. reflection and Wild Bird Wednesday. Makes me more disciplined that way. On son days I always do my own Sunday Thiught.
ReplyDeleteEileen and I are doing a "Winter Scavenger Hunt" as copied from your "Summer Scavenger Hunt", which can be found if you go to my blog and scroll down until you find the link photo on the right-hand side, please feel free to join in, the more the merrier. Joy x x
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back Rinda...I've been seeing on IG so knew you were still in the land of the living! Xx
ReplyDeletegood to have you back - I've found that memes help me blog regularly - I've been enjoying Sian's new 'me on Monday'
ReplyDeleteI'm pondering this same question as we approach the new year. I liked the ZIZO but only participated a handful of times. I've enjoyed the revival of Sian's Christmas Club and joined in a few times with Cheri's Life Tunes. Looking forward to seeing which ones you choose to follow along with in 2015.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers. I've been very hit and miss with memes this year but I do like Abi's 1 photo 20 words and Helena's zizo I'm hoping to be more consistent next year - hey maybe that should be my word for the year. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous splash of colour from the morning glory! I love memes but I tend to take on too many & then feel under pressure to contribute. Next year I want to chill a bit & let go. I love Abi's One Photo & Helena's ZIZO
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your summer scavenger hunt, Helena's ZIZO and Abi's one photo twenty words. So delighted when Sian brought back the Christmas club too. Hope to continue a few more - I like to be encouraged to take photos and keep looking at the world.
ReplyDeleteOh, what beautiful flowers!!
ReplyDeleteI've been rethinking my blogging, too, but haven't decided yet what memes I'll stay in. Helena's will definitely be on the list, though!
