Hustling down the streets of San Francisco to grab dinner before my night class, I spied a mural which I thought would be a perfect subject for my weekly zoom in < zoom out pairing. It wasn't until I got home that I realized how well this fit with my Georgia O'Keeffe posts. Linking up with Helena's Creative Maven. Are you playing along this week?
fabulous as a whole and the details of the tiles and yes a great O'Keeffe-esqe feel
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I admire the ability of the artist to take all those tiny squares of colors and create something so beautiful and realistic!
ReplyDeleteLove this ~ I wasn't expecting to see that!
ReplyDeleteSuch a contrast!

ReplyDeleteFantastic pair for zoom in/zoom out - looking at just the first photo there's no way to tell what it is exactly! Yes, I'm playing along this week - just linked up with photos from my latest Frugal Still Life photo shoot.
ReplyDeleteI am a big mosaic fan - great shots Rinda!
ReplyDeleteOh the tiles are beautiful on their own but then to pull out and see the mosaic? Yes, planning on taking photos today between meetings.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a brilliant zizo! How colourful and it must have taken ages to create with such small mosaics.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! And a wonderful contrast to our dreary landscape here.
ReplyDeleteFab! A great zoom in and out!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is brilliant. What a glorious mural and great pics.
ReplyDeleteIt fits perfectly with both - and I love the way that the zoom in tells a different story. Without it I might now have realised I was looking at a very clever mosaic
ReplyDeleteBrilliant ZIZO - what a fab mosaic!
