Zoom In Zoom Out #4: Clara's Chickens

Helena hosts a weekly photography meme encouraging bloggers to zoom in and zoom out to get interesting perspectives. I've got two pairs to share this week; both taken in the chicken coop. Look at this and see if you can guess what it is:
Here's the zoom out shot:
Now you can see this is the bit between Buffy's eye and her beak.
How about another pair? This one from one of the Americaunus hens:
Zooming in on the back of her beautiful head.  And then zooming out:
So you can see her entire body.  Which pair do you like better?

    I like the back of the head feathers as it looks so much like a duster :)

    I am favouring the top one, just for the vibrancy of colour and that beautifully composed second photo. It would make a lovely postcard ...

    Doing a good bit of blog catching-up today. So glad you got to see Alison again! You looked like you had fun. The chickens are definitely interesting. I had no idea there were so many different varieties to choose from. I'd LOVE to have the fresh eggs! It is the only thing I miss from when Becca dated Peter. I can't say I have a favorite in the ZIZO photos - both are so interesting. But I do really like the texture of those feathers on the back of the head.
