Scavenger Hunt Linky #3: Dinosaurs Roam the Coast!

It's time for the end of August linkie for the 2013 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt!!! Please join the fun by adding a link to one of your Scavenger Hunt posts at the bottom of today's post. It can be a new post or one from earlier this month. Feel free to share anything related to the Hunt.  I'll host one more linky at the end of the Hunt (on Sept. 21). Today, I'm posting my latest awesome find: Dinosaurs!
When I put "a dinosaur" on the list, it was because I pass this yard full of dinosaurs several times a week:
But I have never stopped to look at them up close and personal:
Or to take any photograph:
These large rusty metal dinosaurs are outside a fountain store and group of shops called Spanishtown, and I'm really glad I stopped by for a visit!  Have you ever seen anything like this?  You can see the rest of my scavenger hunt photos by clicking here
Please link up your post below and try to stop by at least three other posters to see what they're up to!

  1. You know, at the end I'd love to hear how you came up with all of the prompt ideas - they certainly have not seemed necessarily in your favour, photographically speaking, considering I have an inkling of some of the things you like to shoot.
However, knowing you had these beauties close by was more than enough temptation ... and you chose a great day and time to capture them, the light and the contrast is fabulous - particularly in the first one. The colours in the first one are very reminiscent of the Australian outback.

  3. Lovely pictures, on a great day, of these creatures. I wonder who made them in the first place? How they got there? They're incredible. I've just tried to link up - not sure if it has worked properly - may need to try again. I've linked directly (I hope) to the first of the 2 pages of pictures on my site. Thanks for the fun - I've nearly got them all..

I tried to link up my update but the url is more than 100 characters long so instead I just used the main blog url and I'll have it so that it's at the top of the blog for awhile but to go directly to it - try http://scrappyknitter.typepad.com/odds_and_ends/2013/09/august-update-on-photographic-scavenger-hunt.html
