Look Up//Look Down #28: Summertime Greens

It's the height of summer, and I decided to do something a little different with my toe nail polish.  It's very different for me, and I'm still getting used to it. I'm not sure I like it.  I do, however, really like how it pairs with the little green tomatoes on my tomato plant!

    I like your play on colour today Rinda!

    I'm out of the look Up/Down groove and need to get back into it as I like the observations a lot! The scavenger hunt took over in the holidays!

    Our tomatoes are covered with flowers....but no tomatoes yet.
    Like you....I'm not sure about the nail colour.

    It is a very unusual shade of green but very summery feeling ... like the colour has been washed out by the intense sun. I love turquoise instead :-)

    Great set of up/down photos, Rinda, and I'm digging your green toes! Carrie and I plan to go with teal toes in September again this year, and that always takes a little getting used to at first, but we like it after all.

    Oh how fun. I went a bit different with my nail colour too - but not green. That's a bit brave for me, changing the colour for the first time in a couple of decades has to happen in stages you know ;)

    I like your green toe nail color. Fun! Our tomatoes are starting to turn red. I snagged several red grape tomatoes from the vine the other day while watering. So yummy.

    The two photos are perfect together! The bravest I've ever gotten with toe nail polish was a dark blue. I grew to rather like it.

    I like the nail color, seems when I wear a "different" color it somehow matches a lot of my clothes and I get compliments from elderly ladies, they like the sassiness lol

    For a second I thought they were gooseberries! I think I have them on the brain as a friend has a glut and is coming up with all manner of ideas for them. Interesting choice of polish, reminds me of childrens' coloured chalks :o)

    I love it!!! I was actually thinking about this même on my drive home earlier today and thinking if I was to play along, I would try to always find a "link" between the Up and the Down photos ~ just what you did here and I love it!

    Love how you've stuck to a colour theme for this set. I like the toe nail colour - always nice to have a change. I've gotten away from Looking Up and Down and I need to get back to it.
