Paintless at the Paint Party: "Dry" Art Journaling

I normally join in Paint Party Friday, but I'm not sure if I should this week.  I've been enjoying making art journal pages in the "Marvel - Your Precious Life" class with Kelly Kilmer.  I've made some pretty pages, like the one up top.
Some emotional pages, like this one, with the prompt "Sometimes I feel . . . ."
And some fairly simple pages, like this one based on the prompt "yearning."
One thing that all the pages have in common is that they are "dry" - no paint!  They're all done with layers of paper and pen work.  So, I don't know if they really qualify for Paint Party Friday, but I'm going to share them anyway because I really enjoy the community of artists that gather there.  Hopefully they won't mind me showing up paintless at the paint party!

  7. wonderful pages Rinda! and I could totally see just adding one or two brush strokes of white paint if you really wanted it to qualify for PPF

  8. Hi Rinda, these pages are wonderful! i actually never thought that you had to actually paint to qualify for PPF! I thought it was any creative endeavor. Their are people who are glass workers and photographers I know who post regularly. So I am happy you have posted as these are really wonderful pages. My favorite is the one with the Angry!

  16. Rinda ~ I love your pages and the heartfelt sentiments that each one of them holds. I especially love the way you covered the eyes on the one with a fortune cookie note (clever). It's fun to see your collage work in another medium other than paint. :o)
