I love these two kids so much and am grateful they are safe and sound. My thoughts and prayers go out to the parents, relatives and community members of Newton, Connecticut.
Yes so sorry for the families too. It's a real curse you have in the US with this weapon thing. Glad your two kids are safe. We should honor and be grateful for the time we spend with our loved ones as we never know when it can suddenly end. xxx
As I commented on Cheri's blog - how can relative easy access to guns and ammunition be tolerated by the general public when this is the posssible consequence? I find it unfathomable, tragic and extremely sad.
You just can't begin to imagine how those parents feel and what a waste of innocent young lives. Here in the UK our gun laws are so strict and incidents like this are exceptionally rare. If people don't have access to weapons, then the chances of this happening are significantly reduced. I am sure that you - and millions of other American parents - hugged your kids just a little tighter than normal last night.
I think the older I get, the worse these tragedies seem to me. I could barely get through the news last night, and I've thought of those families over and over today.
Yes. What a terrible thing to happen
ReplyDeletemust admit my first thought was - where in USA, are any of my blogfriends near there?
ReplyDeletegreat photos
