PPF: Completed "Abstract"
A few weeks ago, I started this as an abstract painting. You can see it here. I added some stylized flowers and stenciled circles. I don't think it counts as an abstract anymore because I added identifiable (even if stylized) elements. What do you think? Is that right?
In any event, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's definitely a departure for me. That's one of the reasons I really appreciate Paint Party Friday - it pushes me to try new things in my painting. If you want to see other examples of painterly goodness, check out this link.
whatever its label, I think its fabulous
ReplyDeleteThis has come together beautifully and the simplicity of the additions makes that background look wonderful... so glad you have shared the finished product... it is a treat... xx
ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic! Love the layers in the background. :)
ReplyDeleteYour background is amazing and a beautiful compliment to the flowers (or the other way around).
ReplyDeleteHm, not sure if this is still abstract. But I like it! The colors are so nice and sunny. Happy PPF!
