Recently, I posted a letter I wrote to my house. That post was inspired by Shimelle's wonderful journaling class. Here's two other forms of correspondence, inspired by that same prompt.
First, a note I'd like to leave under my daughter's pillow:
If I was on twitter (which I'm not), I would tweet this to my son (who will be getting his driver's permit this week):
It reads: "Dear boy, how can you possible be old enough to drive?"
Are you more likely to write a letter, a note or a tweet?
I'm a note girl :-)
ReplyDeleteDD is a beautiful girl - so hard to convince young women of that age though, I hope she realises soon.
Driving??? Watch out! :-)
It'd be writing a note for me too - and I love your one on your DD. A note that is clearly as lovely as she is, and hope it helps her realise this ...
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful. And you can tell her I said that. I can only repeat what the others have said - beautiful pages, such loving thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI'm not on Twitter either, but I'm coming round to the idea
i am on twitter but rarely tweet just read other peoples. i would send a note i think. tell ur daughter she is beautiful
ReplyDeleteJo xxxx
I think even Cindy Crawford had her doubts at that age. It's something I think all women go through! I get to go through it three times! Just keep telling her and someday she will realize that you were right all along!!!
ReplyDeletesuch touching, heart-felt notes to your children. i enjoy writing notes and letters by hand. i'm definitely not a tweeter!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a tweeter I'm afraid so it would be hand written for me every time!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to see that your daughter is insecure about her image especially when the photos we see of her are of a happy, healthy, beautiful young lady.
She's lovely!
a note... don't tweet!
ReplyDeleteSuch great pages and the joys of parenting teens! Hoping DD doesn't stress about her looks too much, she's such a lovely, healthy young woman!
Have fun with the driving - you'll survive!
I've only recently started to tweet, and I'm still figuring out how to make it work for me (I think by following hardly anybody!!) I write notes or emails, generally - notes inside a card, for example - not often a letter. Oh, and I text a fair bit!
ReplyDeleteThe pages are as beautiful as your children are xx
haha.. i text Angelina constantly :D and put notes in her lunchbox :)
ReplyDeleteand I can't believe Henry is going to be DRIVING!!?? we all see that Clara is as lovely on the outside as she is on the inside... she will discover that fact eventually, i'm sure!
Mariana
Beautiful pages!
ReplyDeleteI am more likely to send an email.
