Its a beginning and each page in between is the growing process. Its exciting and an adventure.

What a wonderful idea!Lynne4444https://www.blogger.com/profile/16895673154995544950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671093558941693832.post-41662996218220030072010-06-23T05:54:10.581-07:002010-06-23T05:54:10.581-07:00I love your manifesto pages - I tend to feel quite...I love your manifesto pages - I tend to feel quite self-conscious when trying to do them myself, but I was quite pleased with my JYC one xxhumelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06337055138734278353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671093558941693832.post-85358231978903267402010-06-23T04:17:12.723-07:002010-06-23T04:17:12.723-07:00I love both of your pages. I've only written one manifesto--in one of the Christmas journals. It always seems a little contrived when I read it. I do often write a short introduction to a scrapbook project, but they don't fall into the "manifesto" category.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671093558941693832.post-62382642860639038922010-06-23T02:59:32.507-07:002010-06-23T02:59:32.507-07:00I like them and, as it is down to personal interpr...I like them and, as it is down to personal interpretation, I'm happy for them to be a statement of intent/goals/artistic ideals - whatever strikes my fancy at the time. Most often it would be an introduction or dedication to a particular project.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04009119301336136337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671093558941693832.post-73098719374171984052010-06-23T02:59:22.408-07:002010-06-23T02:59:22.408-07:00Love these artist manifesto pages! I've been thinking about starting an art journal for some time, and know that when I do I want the first page to be 'I am an artist', as it's something that I like to think but not say out loud!Jennifer Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02013102697355186671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671093558941693832.post-27917215521530374312010-06-23T00:07:08.318-07:002010-06-23T00:07:08.318-07:00I have done a goal or stement of intent twice in c...I have done a goal or stement of intent twice in classes I attended - because I couldn't get out of it. I never do them when it is suggested in an online class. The idea (and practice) just does not gel with how I do things and so I feel as though I'm acting being someone else when I'm forced to do one.

But - if I had been shown your 2nd one as an example I would have felt good about it. I had not thought of that kind of approach to the task - I will remmeber it for next time a class I take sugests a manifesto for day one.helenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08879196131617998605noreply@blogger.com
