So, what do I have in my supply closet?
On the bottom left, those are storage bins for paper. Bottom right are scrapbooks that I'm
Middle shelf left has water color and acrylic paints. Middle middle has gel mediums, twinkling H2O's, perfect pearls and alcohol ink. Middle right has beading supplies, plaster wrap, a box with interesting small projects (blocks, slide mailers, dominoes, stamp board) and more idea books.
Top shelf left has spray inks, stencils and masks; and paper-based ephemera in various sizes for art journaling. Top middle has two bins with completed cards and post cards; eyelets; ATC and business card blanks; and fibers. Top right has ribbons; paper art dolls; chunky embellishments and handouts from classes that I have taught or taken.
On top of the book shelf, there are six memory boxes with: chip board; grunge board; tags and bookmarks; adhesives; tools; and pastels/chalks/markers. One basket is filled with paper scraps; the other two have completed mini-albums and art journals. The top big round hat boxes have projects-in-process or to-be-started. The box with roosters has assemblage supplies. The boxes on the far right contain completed projects to be sold, given away or used as appropriate; Chinese brush art kit (in the pizza box); texture and mark-making tools; and a bin with things to be given away (for a face-book pay-it-forward, etc.).
On the top closet shelf, the right hand side is taken up with stamps, inks, and embossing powders. The left hand side is mainly heritage photos with a large stash of old books for art journaling. And then there's that mystery bin on the far left side which I haven't even looked in yet!
And that's enough for today, I've got a few more areas to show you, including more stamps, my desk, and my art journaling storage. But those will have to wait.
So, my question for you . . . how similar are our supplies? What do you have that I don't? What do I have that is completely foreign to you?

I would say that I have almost all of those same supplies and more! I have the addition of a Cuttlebug and the assorted dies and embossing folders to go with it! You haven't gotten to your stamps yet, mine are in a Craftsmen Tool Chest - made sense as I work in the garage!

Some of our supplies are similar, some not so much. I have to say you are totally brave in purging to the point that all your supplies fit inside of one bedroom closet! As I look around at mine, I am not at all certain that would be possible...
I would agree, majestic is the word! I love organising my craft space. I find I am most creative when everything is in its place!

about a third is the same - I have more beads / wool / fabric and less paint and other wet things. Your cupboard looks so inviting - waiting for some creative magic
Such a warm, interesting, vintage-y set of shelves, Rinda. I'd be missing the paper dolls, plaster supplies and beads. You've just reminded me that I have twinkling H2Os and done nothing with them :(.

Quite different from mine! I have lots of yarn and fabric and embroidery stuff fighting for attention in amongst the patterned paper and I don't really have any art supplies. It's very cool to see what you work with
You've not got to your stamps which along with the inks, mists, and SOME of the arty bits are things we share. I have a Sizzix big shot and a silhouette to add in and my sewing machine which I have and want to be able to use more easily at the next place.
The other main difference is my colour boxes - I have boxes of embellishments sorted by colour, plus some sorted by type. Wouldn't it be fun to actually get to come and play at each place?
Similar to mine in some ways...though I probably have far less 'painty' stuff....and quite a bit of die cutting stuff.
I do have a fair bit of fabric....but that is kept in a totally different area.
Not surprisingly, we have many of the same supplies, but not in the same quantities. I have many more stamps, and fewer art supplies. I also have a huge collection of dies, but no paper dolls or beading supplies. I loved getting all my supplies purged and organized, and it's really paid off in creative time.
We sure do collect a lot of 'stuff'. Great organising Rinda....you can start on my lot next.
Reading this I wish you lived closer so you could work some of your magic on my scrapping supplies x
It looks great and I know it feels good. Have to admit it made me depressed when I looked at the mess my studio is in. You have more art supplies I would think while I have much more paper and cardmaking supplies and many. many empty albums waiting to be filled.
Looks so well organised, i only wish I were as tidy.......!

Not many stamps but lots of fabric, felting stuff & beads. I don't see a rather large clear plastic box

I love the way you've organized everything, Rinda. It looks awesome! There's nothing like a newly organized craft space to make you want to get in there and create something and make it messy! Enjoy!!!
