Since Henry and his friends graduated, we've been going to a variety of graduation parties. Today I made some graduation cards (sentiment from Club Scrap; paw print from All Night Media; and some paw print washi tape because the high school mascot is the cougars).
I bought a bunch of Looney Tunes flash drives because I thought they were fun, yet practical. I also added a regular flash drive for each kid.
Then I bagged them up and added the card with a bit of black yarn. Some of my more clever friends gave the kids checks for $20.13 (their graduation year) or $20 in Costa Rican money (since they'r going to Costa Rica on their senior trip tomorrow). But, I was pretty happy with my choice of graduation gift!

I think flash drives are a great gift idea - have done that before myself!
Just read your Simply a Moment post too - lovely thoughts Rinda, about hope, renewal and the future.
Great idea. I never thought of that. Hope they have a fab time in CR
You do these things so much better than we do! I would have liked a graduation party or two to rock up to, I think!
They are a great idea....I like the fun,as well as practical, element.
Graduation gifts aren't done over here - I find it odd. Yours made me smile and I bet the grads did too :)
What a cute idea! Hope the kids enjoyed them!
Looks fab. Happy PPF to you.
Great gift idea Rinda I like the fun and practical side of the gift too.
It's a great gift, and the packaging is wonderful!
Brilliant gifts and nicely packaged too.
Love those gifts! What a great idea. Graduating from High (or as we call it, Secondary) School here isn't celebrated too much. Graduation is generally at the end of University when you get your degree. I like the idea of celebrating your way, because everyone leaves school, but not every one goes onto uni. Your way, everyone gets a graduation!
I am three years away but it is not too early to get ideas! Thank you for sharing yours!
Great gift idea! I especially love that you found those Looney Tunes flash drives for your gift. Who wouldn't find those a fun gift to receive?
We dont really celebrate high school graduation here either! I love the Looney Tunes flash drive, such a fun, yet practical gift.
Great gifts and cards!!!
Clever you...and a gift that lasts.
These are fantastic gifts!
Great idea for grads! Cute cards, too. I'm jealous of their summer trip - ah, to be young again! :-)
I didn't graduate - no one did in my day you reached the right age and left school or you were lucky enough to pass exams and go on to university. I managed to avoid the exams and went to agricultural college by taking the entrance exam. No graduation ceremony there either! just a certificate for the exams handed to us the day before term ended and we were out into the world to get a job.
What a great idea for a Graduation gift!

$20.13 is a great idea, but your present will continue to bring a smile to their face long after the money is spent.
What a great idea. Very practical and cute. My boys are always asking for these.
Fabulous gift - I gave my nieces cute flash drives for Christmas last year & they loved them.
I think those are a great idea for a gift.
